Bret McCain, Chief Executive Officer
The goal and vision for Southern Comfort Health DPC is to provide quality care and a common sense business approach, which is possible with the partnership of her husband, Bret McCain, CEO of Southern Comfort clinics. Mr. McCain is also a native to Fort Pierce and graduate of FSU, and brings nearly two-decades of business experience as the Vice President and Director of Operations for Universal Signs and Accessories, a locally historic family-held company. He supplements additional roles as a community liaison, volunteering and serving on various public and governmental boards. Both McCains, seeing how healthcare is rapidly changing into an assembly line of disconnected interactions and burdensome regulations, and recognize the value in the trending model of healthcare called Direct Primary Care. They look forward to being part of a change that will have a direct impact in people’s lives by reviving medicine’s historical role as a caregiver, patient advocate, personal confidante, and community connection.
