Now Accepting Finanical and Medical Equipment Donations

Southern Comfort Cares

The patients at Southern Comfort Health represent the full spectrum of financial status – and we treat all with the same high quality care, going the “extra mile” whenever needed.

Finanical Donations

A portion of financial donations will go directly to help assist patients who are experiencing sudden/unexpected hardships, to pay for their membership, medications, labs.

Depending on additional funding, SoCo staff also have a “wish list” of medical equipment which could be used to enhance the services for general members.

Note that SoCo Cares is not a 501c3 nonprofit, which unfortunately means monetary donations of $1 is worth about $0.70 after taxes, and you can’t claim these donations for your taxes.

Medical Equipment Donations

We are accepting physical donations that can be transferred to other patients in need.

Some examples of medical equipment include: bandages, alcohol pads, gloves, diapers, catheters, wheelchairs, crutches, braces, monitoring devices, diabetic supplies, logbooks, etc.

If you have Medical Equipment to donate, please call us to schedule a time.

CareBag Mission:

“Our vision is a country where all have access to proper hygiene, where communities see the importance of human rights for all.”

CareBag Inc. is a 501C3 nonprofit organization founded in January 2017 that provides proper hygiene through various components. For example, the mobile shower units, operation center, and hygiene pantry cover ages 0 to 100+. We provide diapers, Depends, wipes, and much more while ensuring that dignity is observed. CareBag Inc. is power-driven by volunteers of all ages who live by the organization’s creed that proper hygiene is essential to those in need for better health and wellness in the community.

Just as we have food insecurities, we have hygiene insecurities. When families cannot afford a gallon of milk or a whole chicken to feed their families, how can they afford diapers, depends, or deodorant.

Little Birthday Angels Mission:
To provide a birthday celebration for every homeless child living on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
With the helping hands and hearts of many volunteers, we are providing themed birthday parties and gifts every month at four local shelters. Complete with decorations, games, activities, cupcakes, and goody bags. From set-up to clean-up, our volunteers take care of the whole celebration.

In addition to birthday parties, we serve St. Lucie County & Indian River County school districts. Providing birthday gifts and essential items to homeless birthday students each month through our Birthday Bags of Hope Program.

Birthday Bags of Hope are also served to area partners at The Homeless Children’s Foundation and Family Promise of Martin County.
